Education is the backbone of any country’s economy. It is through education that business, trade and commerce runs eventually. We have the best of educational institutions in the country today, but what do we envisage when we hear the phrase “Government run or aided school”? A run-down facility where students pass time rather than learn? Teachers chatting but not teaching? The lab is a joke without equipment? I guess that is the general perception of the people. What one does not realize is the reach of these Government schools – rural and urban – and the perception is that of unused infrastructure.
At Awakening The Golden Bird (Sone Ki Chidiya Ko Jagao), we look to change this perception by adding technology to the human factor, and setting things in motion with metaverse to give that learning and knowledge to school and college students in a 3D AR/VR environment.
Learning will be based on the profile of the students, which becomes a skills’ bank for the government to use eventually; like Aadhar or Arogya Setu, we will have a Skills based id and as we learn and update ourselves, the blockchain based system will update the certifications on the learner’s profile. We look at enhancing employability skills, and entrepreneurial mindsets of the youth and children with Offline (classroom), or hybrid, or completely online learning that can happen with the use of current technology, offline skill development centers and incubation centers. Hardware integration with robotics, 3D printing, AR/VR and of course accessible devices will be available with such facilities that enhance research options as well. Look at healthcare innovations, manufacturing / shop floor options in mobility. As to the work in Accessible devices and mobility in the disability space, we have a load of startups that have begun to race ahead of each other in the space.

Looking at the vast demographic advantage our country carries today, we have:
· 500 million plus children
· 260 million plus youth
· This 760 million people constitute 54% of the population
