Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

What do we cover at Vardaan4u on UN SDGs?

At Vardaan4u, we address a part of the entire 17 SDGs as depicted below to clear the silos that we touched upon ahead. Taking up SDG11 as the base for the rest of the chosen in the set for our thought process – 3Es (Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship) and HAT (Health & Wellness, Accessibility & Inclusion and Technology) (SDG 10, 16, 09, 08, 04 and 03) as a part of Sone Ki Chidiya Ko Jagao initiative.

Pain points? And for whom do we work? Well, this one organization works for “everyone” as inclusion is a given.

The other implication of this law being implemented is that all real estate will need to be compliant.

Keys to Success

  • Community building of people: Build an Angel (initially a set of volunteers) Network and training the Angels to audit and review as well as look out for non-compliances. Eventually, the educational dropouts and women (Diversity) will be addressed at Vardaan4u to set up the Angel network. These Angels will work as eyes and ears for the society at large to become inclusive.
  • Industry connects for accessibility audits and making organizations inclusive.
